PLC and HMI programming

We write the control programs for Mitsubishi MELSEC PLCs and design the operator screens on GOT2000 touch panels, for the machines we build and for yours.

What we program

Software that operators understand and maintenance staff can rely on.

  • Machine sequencesThe full cycle with interlocks, so every step happens in the right order and only when it is safe.
  • Product recipesProduct and pallet projects saved on the panel, loaded from SD card or USB in a few taps.
  • Clear alarmsEvery fault shown in plain words, with what to do to clear it.
  • Service screensManual jog of axes, I/O test mode and status of every sensor, for fast fault finding.
  • Counters and statisticsGood and rejected parts counted, ready to connect to a SCADA system.

Screens from our machines

Real operator screens we designed for delivered machines.

Main screen with the loaded project
Load the productThe operator chooses the product project and sends it to the machine.
Layer editor with boxes on a pallet
Edit the pallet patternAdd, move and rotate boxes, check for collisions and save the layer.
Error message shown in red on the start screen
Clear fault messagesThe panel says what stopped the machine and how to restart it.

Everything connected

The PLC is the centre of the machine. We connect it to every other part.

  • RobotsSignal exchange with Mitsubishi Electric, NACHI and KUKA robot controllers.
  • Vision systemsCamera results passed to the PLC and robots in real time.
  • DrivesServo axes and frequency inverters controlled over the network.
  • SafetyEmergency stops, light curtains and door switches built into the control logic.

How we work

The same steps for a new machine or a change to an existing one.

  1. SpecificationWe agree what the machine must do, the products, and the operator functions.
  2. ProgrammingPLC program and touch panel screens written by our engineers.
  3. TestingThe machine is assembled and run in our workshop before delivery.
  4. Start-up and changesCommissioning on site, then updates when your products change.
