Electrical engineering and design

We design the electrical side of your machine or line: schematics, component selection and panel layout. Then we build, wire and test the panels ourselves, so the design and the finished panel come from one team.

What we design

Everything the electrical system of a machine needs, worked out before the first wire is cut.

  • Electrical schematicsPower, control, safety and I/O circuits drawn for your machine.
  • Component selectionControllers, drives, circuit protection, power supplies and safety devices sized for the loads.
  • Panel layoutPlacement of every device, wire ducts, terminals, cable entries and cooling, with room for later additions.
  • Safety circuitsEmergency stops, door switches and light curtains wired into a safe stop of the machine.
  • NetworksCommunication between PLC, touch panel, drives and robots, for example CC-Link over Ethernet through an industrial switch.

From requirements to a tested panel

One process for a single control box or the electrics of a complete line.

  1. RequirementsMotors, drives, inputs and outputs, supply and site conditions.
  2. Schematics and selectionCircuits drawn and every component chosen.
  3. LayoutMounting plate, ducts and terminals planned for clean wiring and easy service.
  4. Build and wireAssembly and precise wiring in our workshop, with every wire marked.
  5. Functional testPower-up and checks of every circuit before the panel leaves us.
  6. HandoverSchematics and documentation delivered with the panel.

Panels we have built

Control panels from machines we delivered.

Clean, accessible wiringProtection devices in rows, terminals at the bottom, schematic in the door.
Control cabinet with PLC, drives and power supplies
Machine control cabinetPLC, drives and power supplies for a 4-axis palletizing manipulator.
Control panel with a GOT touch panel in the door
Operator panel on the doorA touch panel on the door controls the whole robot cell.

Why one team for design and build

The person who draws the schematic knows how the panel is built and how the machine runs.

  • Designed for your machineEvery panel is designed for its machine, not adapted from a standard box.
  • Quality componentsProven brands such as Mitsubishi Electric, SICK and MEAN WELL.
  • Precise wiringNeat, marked wiring that is easy to trace and service.
  • Tested before deliveryFunctional testing in our workshop, so start-up on site is fast.
  • Ready to integratePrepared for connection to your line, your network and your other machines.

What we need to know

With this information we can design the system and send you a quote.

  1. LoadsMotors and drives with their power, and which need speed or position control
  2. Inputs and outputsSensors, valves, buttons and signals
  3. SupplyVoltage, available current and how the panel connects
  4. EnvironmentTemperature, dust, moisture or washdown
  5. RequirementsBrands or standards your plant requires

Need the electrics for a machine or line?

Send us the motor list, the inputs and outputs and your site conditions. We will design the system and propose the panels.
